I Need To Go To The Grocery Store…

As I sit here on this lovely cold morning sipping coffee, I’m realizing I need to hit the grocery store. The leftovers from the holidays are starting to disappear (thankfully) and of course with the start of the New Year, we need to start eating some healthier foods. But before I start on that journey (for the hundredth time) I decided to whip up a dish last night that used some of the leftovers , but in a simple way. Everyone has heard of the dish Chicken Cordon Bleu…sort of time consuming , stuffing or rolling and breading then frying and finishing it the oven, blah blah blah. Well I found this awesome recipe that was minimal work and everything (main dish and sides) were all done in 20 minutes. The point of this recipe was to use up that ham , you know the thing that sits in your fridge for about 3 weeks after the holidays are done. I won’t go into too much detail about what I did, since i’ll be posting the recipe on my recipe page, but this is definitely a must try! I paired it with some easy risotto and green beans (the risotto was unfortunately from a box but it is seriously delicious and so easy when you have a busy day). Without much more to say, since a picture is worth a thousand words, here you have it!
